The Call Of CthulhuThe Review:
An epic masterpiece by the famous novelist capable of instilling dread in a manner that no one else can. The narrative that gave rise to the Cthulhu mythos and the Cthulhu cult.
This book isn't very long, but it contains enough material to fill volumes upon volumes of spine-chilling horror stories and epics for future generations. Essentially, this is a story about the grandfather of all monsters, creatures, and cults. Cthulhu will always reign supreme, whether in magical, mythical, or science fiction and is often the inspiration for those monsters and stories.
You may not enjoy the book, but you will remember what you read because the way it is written makes you believe in what is happening and what the narrator is saying.
I believe that everyone should read this book and listen to the audio version to understand what this legend is all about and what Lovecraftian means. A must-read and highly recommended book. Giving points to an iconic book like this is an insult, so I'm just giving it full marks as if it matters. So just read, but don't forget to listen as well, to get the full experience.
