I have all the books by Mr. Stephen King, except for the ones that are not published yet.
I bought this book because…because it was written by Stephen King. It is not the cover and not the size of the book and not even the price; it is simply his name that sells his books.
This book is a huge collection of short stories by writer Stephen King. Some of these stories were already published and a few were never been published before. Some of these stories were adapted as movies and short series. But mainly this book was adapted as a series with stories televised as separate short episodes.
Some of these stories will take your sleep away and you won’t be able to close your eyes. But I actually don’t feel scared because I think after reading these books, I feel brave, strong, and humbled. Not all stories are scary or “horror” you’ll love it as a compilation of short stories by The King. Some may bore you but still, it depends on your taste and what you were expecting. For me all the stories were great, some fast and some slow but in the end I was happy and satisfied after finishing the book. Am I going to read this book again? YES and maybe, if I have time but surely I’ll read a few of the stories again, and again, but with an interval of a year or so...or maybe with a close friend or my nephew or niece if they are into books.
Start this book by reading “The Moving Finger.” … One of the greatest ideas for a scary book and a movie or a long televised series, but Stephen King didn’t do it as with many many many of his great short stories.
Two more of my favorites were “The Night Flier” and “Popsy.”
One more story that felt close to my heart was about revenge and it involves a car and an old man; just read and find out which one is it and enjoy the slow burn and finally the great satisfaction at the end of that story.

Even with some slow stories, I feel this book deserves 1000 points so I am giving it the following as always with any of Mr. King’s stories and books.
