Biography:
M. R. Carey (Mike Carey) has spent much of his life spinning up stories. His novel The Girl With All the Gifts became a word-of-mouth sensation and is currently being adapted into a major film picture based on his own script. He has written for both DC and Marvel under the pen name Mike Carey, including critically praised stints on Lucifer, Hellblazer, and X-Men. His creator-owned work The Unwritten was a regular on the New York Times bestseller list for graphic novels. He has also written books, games, radio plays, and TV and movie screenplays in the past.
