Biography:
Lauren Groff is the author of four books, including her latest novel MATRIX, which was released in September 2021. FATES AND FURIES, which was a National Book Award finalist and won the American Booksellers Association's Fiction prize, as well as ARCADIA and THE MONSTERS OF TEMPLETON. FLORIDA, which won The Story Prize and was a nominee for the National Book Award, and DELICATE EDIBLE BIRDS are two of her story collections.
She was named one of Granta's 2017 Best Young American Novelists and was a Guggenheim fellow. Her writing has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and Harper's, as well as five editions of the Best American Short Stories, and her books have been translated into over 30 languages. Her spouse and two sons live in Gainesville, Florida.
