Biography:

Kristin Hannah is the author of more than 20 books, including the international bestseller The Nightingale, as well as Winter Garden, Night Road, and Firefly Lane.

Her novel The Nightingale has been translated into 43 languages and is currently being adapted into a film by TriStar Pictures, which also optioned her second novel, The Great Alone. 1492 Films (which produced the Oscar-nominated The Help) has optioned her novel Home Front for cinema, with Chris Columbus set to direct.

Kristin is a former lawyer who now lives with her spouse in the Pacific Northwest. Her work Firefly Lane, a touchstone novel that brought women together, became a runaway hit in 2009, and her novel The Nightingale was named a best book of the year by Amazon, Buzzfeed, iTunes, Library Journal, Paste, The Wall Street Journal, and The Week in 2015. The novel also won the prestigious Goodreads and People's Choice Awards. The Nightingale earned the Audiobook of the Year Award in the fiction category for its audiobook.
