Kevin J. Anderson

Biography

Kevin James Anderson (born March 27, 1962) is a science fiction novelist from the United States. 

He has written spin-off novels for Star Wars, StarCraft, Titan A.E., and The X-Files, and he co-wrote the Dune prequel novels with Brian Herbert

His original works include the Saga of Seven Suns series and Assemblers of Infinity, which was nominated for a Nebula Award. 

He has also authored various comic books, including the Dark Horse Star Wars series Tales of the Jedi, which he co-wrote with Tom Veitch, as well as Dark Horse Predator volumes and Topps The X-Files titles. 

Enemies & Allies, describing the first encounter of Batman and Superman, and The Last Days of Krypton, concerning how Superman's planet Krypton came to be destroyed, are two of Anderson's superhero books. 

Anderson has written over 140 novels, more than 50 of which have reached the top of bestseller lists in the United States and across the world, and his works have sold over 23 million copies worldwide.

Rebecca Moesta, a novelist, is his wife. They live in the Monument area of Colorado.

Kevin has been a Literary Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker at the Life, the Universe, and Everything professional science fiction and fantasy arts conference at least three times: in 2016, in 2006, and in 1993.

Along with Stephen King and James Michener, he was inducted into the Colorado Authors Hall of Fame in 2021.
