J.K. Rowling is the creator of the Harry Potter series, which has become one of the most successful in modern history. Her works have sold 450 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 79 different languages. She is also the author of three companion novels inspired by the Harry Potter books, as well as numerous other works that are not part of the series. She is also the author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, a fictitious novel published under her pen name, Newt Scamander.
