Warning: This book is for adults due to graphic
scenes and very sensitive subject matter.
The first thing I want to tell you is that
this book is going to make you cry. One more thing about this book is the way
it is written, so I suggest not reading anything about this book before reading
it because you should find out everything while reading it for yourself. There are
crazy twists and turns in this book and if you found out before reading then
you won’t enjoy or like it.
This book is about making mistakes and
learning from those mistakes. This book is not for the youngsters but I wish it was
possible to let the young ones read it just so they can learn from it and don’t
make the mistakes that lots of our young generation make. we all need to
understand that a few seconds can make or break our lives so we need to be
strong and be able to decide when those few seconds come knocking on our life’s
door.
It is a message for people who sometimes don’t
dare to do things that can change a life for good but after reading this those
people can gain strength and confidence. This writer always has something in
everything she writes, even the name of the book is not just a title, it has a
meaning and near the end, you are going to understand what it means and you are
surely going to freeze on the pages that are going to reveal this meaning.
Some female readers are not going to like
this book at all and may tell you not to read it but what you are going to read
is happening in our world even in these days and it is better to read the book
just to know what it is all about and why some of these people hate this book
so much. I can’t give away anything so I can’t even discuss the issue here.
It is a beautiful and well-written story and
it is going to grip you hard but only if you are willing to learn from this
book. Nothing more can be added (because of no spoiler issue) except it is
another one of the must-reads from the author and even after finishing the book
it is going to stay with you for a long time and may make your eyes sting from
time to time.
Synopsis:
“SOMETIMES THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU IS THE ONE WHO HURTS YOU THE MOST
Lily hasn't always had it easy, but that's
never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She's come a long
way from the small town in Maine where she grew up - she graduated from
college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a
spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's
life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.
Ryle is assertive, stubborn, and maybe even
a little arrogant. He's also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot
for Lily, but Ryle's complete aversion to relationships is disturbing.
As questions about her new relationship
overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan - her first love and a link to
the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas
suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.
With this bold and deeply personal novel,
Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground
for her as a writer. It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love
that comes at the ultimate price.
This book contains graphic scenes and very
sensitive subject matter.”
