Biography
Edward Joseph Gorman Jr. (November 2, 1941 – October 14, 2016) was a short fiction anthologist and writer from the United States.
He wrote in nearly every genre, but is best renowned for his work in crime, mystery, western, and horror.
His nonfiction writing has appeared in magazines such as The New York Times and Redbook.
He has written for a variety of periodicals and books, including Xero, Black Lizard, Mystery Scene, Cemetery Dance, and the compilation Tales of Zorro.
He co-wrote Book Number two of Dean Koontz's Frankenstein series, City of Night.
