Biography:
Bret Easton Ellis is the author of five novels and a short story collection, and his work has been translated into twenty-seven languages. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
Ellis frequently employs the use of recurring characters and settings. In one novel, major characters may become minor characters in the next, and vice versa. Camden College, a fictional liberal arts college in New England, is frequently mentioned. It is based on Ellis' time at Bennington College, where he met future novelist Jonathan Lethem and fellow writers Donna Tartt and Jill Eisenstadt.
